libsl.so
« on: November 08, 2004, 04:15:53 pm »
I am sure there are many people who have reflashed the sharp rom to get this and then flashed back, so rather than having to find a sharp rom and reflash my z too, could someone who has got libsl.so please make it available to me somehow (I can do email if less than 1mb, although other means are preffered).

Thanks
Simon

You could grab the ospack, use romburst to extract the initrd.bin, then mount it as as cramfs... that's what I tend to do (though I'm using Windows atm and don't have a copy handy)

I'd be interested to see what you can do, as when I tried (with OZ3.2 iirc), I eventually ended up (after adding a long list of required libs - hence the mounting the fs so I could easily copy them) with an undefined symbols error and gave up in disgust (I wasn't overly motivated though ;-).

I am getting the undefined symbols error (on LOTS of programs)- will this be solved by the lib or did you still get the error after installing the libs?

Nothing has actually told me that this is the lib I need, but something in another thread lead me to believe that this is probably the problem. If I am totally wrong here please tell me.

EDIT: the actual error I get is:
[name of program]: symbol lookup error: [name of program]: undefined symbol: _7QString.shared_null

Thanks
Simon

If this is the error, then yes you are wrong. That undefined symbols error will be solved by installing and using the compat libs.
