Unfortunately most of the "Buy-it-Now" listings (which I prefer) are going for $450-$480. When you add their steep shipping ($20-30) you're talking about spending $500.

they didn't thin there was an issue....
but they also said to wait out the delivery period then get $$$ back if things didn't work out

Yeah. I gotta sell my 5600 to cover this for xmas. WOuld have been good if there was a 6k coming.
The guy at amazon did say that they have investigators available and that there had been no flags of any kind on jpettins.

I couldn't find any pettins on yahoo member search though.... does that mean his profile isn't public? I guess it must, since there isn't an eliminate yahoo user account option that I know of.

I don't use gaim or gyach or any yahoo chat enough to make that do much.... But I am interested to see haow it turns out.
Maybe better if a bunch of us don't all add him at once though. let us know what you find

If anyone buys at a higher price directly from Amazon and it goes on sale recommend you contact and ask for a refund. I bought mine on the 17th of November for $499. It arrived on the 1st of December (remailed from Fla to Kyrgyzstan where I work) at that time it was $379 on Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they refunded the difference because it was so soon since I bought it.
BTW I sold my Sigmarion III and bought the Z6K, one of the better decisions I have made. The S3 was a good machine but had MS to the core and kinda fragile. The Z6K rocks and I'm glad to be actively back into Unix. Anyone know of a Picsel Browser for Qtopia??
