Sl-6000l Sd Problem
« on: December 07, 2004, 10:48:06 am »
Hi all,

I just got my SL-6000L and it won't recognize either of my SD cards (one is a SanDisk and one is a Kingston).

Can anyone give me any pointers?  I tried to track down the fdisk package to help but I can't find an active link to it.

Thanks in advance,
Tom

do you see /mnt/card when you type mount after inserting the card?

what happens when you type mount /mnt/card ?
Gorgeous C860, 256 Sandisk SD, 1Gig Pretec 40x CF, PDAIR leather case & the really cool retractable iPDA USB sync/charge cable. Powered by PDAXROM BETA 1.

My wish - to have a Command & Conquer style game on my Z! (FREECNC!!!) Simcity 2000 would also be great.

No.

mount: Mounting /dev/mmcda1 on /mnt/card failed: Invalid argument

My CF card shows up as /dev/hda1 on /usr/mnt.rom/cf.

I got it working!  Yay!  I tracked down a copy of fdisk and followed the procedure to reformat the card and the mount finally worked.
