When trying to play mp3 files with opie mediaplayer2  I get a sigbus error.  Can somebody fill me in on what that means, and what I can do about that? Or suggest an alternative media player?

Try "man 7 signals". The signals SIGBUS is a bus error (no surprise) wrt bad memory access. Sorry, I don't know what it really means, maybe someone else can help?

Cheers
