Welcome z3rd, I do believe more than half of the C series users are using the pdaXrom from www.pdaxrom.org

Hi.

I'm new to the zaurus world as well. I've just got a second hand c860 from ebay.
it was dog slow, wouldn't play videos etc. It was only partially converted to english as well, so I had lots of fun with the handwriting and keyboard etc.

One night (after just a few pints) I decided I'd had enough, and flashed the thing to use cacko 1.22. It feels like a new machine now, I can even play videos...  Well, small ones, as I only have a 64meg flash card.

I also ssh into my linux box. does that make me a sad geek?

my only problem is when I plug the Z into the USB port it messes with my dial up connection and I cant get onto the internet! How crap is that?!

oh, I live in Sheffield (up north) by the way.
