C-3000 System Time.

everytime my c3000 reboots, it ask to set system time.. everytime. anyone elses do this??

Yes that is normal it is more a reminder to check that the time is still corecet
(Palm handhelds do the same)

I don't understand that comment.

Palms do not ask for a date/time when they're turned off/on. They don't ask for one when they've been soft-reset.

Soooo... how is this the same as the Palm? I don't have a c3000, but it sounds like restarting it makes it query for a time. Wouldn't a battery keep that in place? Like a CMOS battery?

Doesnt look like it has a battery for the clock, but it makes sense when you run out of battery and your Z boots up it asks you to check the time. You can test that by clicking reboot and when the screen turn black remove the battery, wait 5-10 min then start the Z the time wont be right and you'll get a: ADJUST CLOCK warning on the time app.

I remember my Palms always came up with the time settings app after a softreset, not when on/off (suspend), could have changed never had a PalmOS5 Handheld
