Scrolling In Terminal ?
« on: January 05, 2005, 04:01:15 am »
Hi,
In Terminal, is there a way to scroll the screen in order to see all the previous lines, for instance after a "ls -l" with a lot of files ?
Or maybe there is a better terminal somewhere ?

Thanks

use SHIFT + UP ARROW

it sometimes does not work (when /dev/shm is full for instance) but it's the way to do what you want.

I use Qkonsole instead, I like the Full screen mode.

i've tried qkonsole, but it runs only in portrait mode and degraded video mode on my sl-c3000.
i'm using standard qtopia and no x/qt.

Did you uncheck the "Display with magnified screen"?

Thank you

By chance I found that you can scroll the screen with the stylus.
But in both cases it dosen't work if /dev/shm is full.
I rebooted the Zaurus to empty it, but maybe there is another way ?
