The successor of the Cosmo Communicator and the third device by Planet Computers has been announced: called Astro Slide 5G Transformer, it's a new take on the clamshell design and can be already funded from its new Indiegogo page:

- 5G support
- Based on the new MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset
- New RockUp slider design, no need for a secondary display anymore
- WiFi 6 integrated
- New 48 MP camera
- Wireless charging
- Volume up-down button
- Shipped with Android 10
An Earlybird perk has now been opened, with a discounted price of €491 ($543/£438) instead of €819 ($906/£731). 500 units are available and 291 have already been claimed at the time of writing.
As of now, Sailfish OS support has not been yet announced.
