What Zaurus do you own? In case it's a SL-C1000 or 3x00, you might want to give Arch Linux ARM a try, the latest kernel and rootfs for Zaurus have been released last May.

User Request for Applications / Updated Ruby And Rubygems Ipk

Using ruby 1.8.4, I was able to get rubygems 0.9.4 working.
It gave some odd warnings while I ran the setup, and it paused for a *long* time and then gave 'terminated', but running 'gem' seems to work.,

Ruby 1.8.6 is out.
I'm using weeXpc now, which is pdaXrom-based, so I'll try rubygems one more time.

True. Well, I'm helping beta test weeXpc.
I still hold some small hope for pdaXrom.
Angstrom's development has progressed somewhat thanks to new blood.. but it's not alpha-quality yet.
Cacko is the only "fairly good" distribution I've used (for my C1000).

Does anyone know what package needs to be installed to get the original Japanese wizard back?
Is there an English equivalent?
Maybe I don't need the wizard. It seems fairly simple to use the regular program..

I was hoping Hentges was just a quiet project like Cacko and might be useful. I'll abandon my pursuit.
Angstrom is pre-alpha still. It was an abysmal failure when I first checked it out, but it's got more interest on the mailing list now. I'll take another look at it later.
