Ubuntu / Zubuntu 1.0 Rc1

i am having a problem formating my cards when i format them in ubuntu 8.10 with gparted installed it says i dont have permission to put the files into the cards and i ahve used my root and my normal login info in and made my regular login a root style login and still no luck help please i would love to get this working

well according to wikipedia the difference is something to with the addressing that is the problem more or less

i know from personaly the planex card works for the sharp rom and the sharp based roms

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Harddrive On 3200

i have a 3200 put in a 4gb cf card to test Debian so i would not mess up the hard drive well  i decided i did not like it went and put back in the 6gb micro drive and went to reinstalled cacko 1.23 everything worked restored my backup but i had to flash to a kernel that supported wm8370 mixer well used the same card that i had a Debian files thought i deleted all of them when i went to redo the kernel it formated the micro drive so now i get the hdd1 error so can i put the files back on from a Linux machine and a cf card reader as i dont remember my commands for command line for my zaurus

dont do like i did i dropped my planex it is busted the casing around the board i have put it back to gether the best i can it still works but looks like crap now

thats what i thought it will be awhile credit card is maxed used it to rebuild a old laptop and to get my zaurus so its dead i will look around my area for a single purpose one thou

no i just want to keep the wifi card in the zaurus and my 4gb cf card in a card reader i have a card reader but it does not show up directly pluged into the host cable then i used my powered usb hub and it still does not show up i have a ge 19-1 reader so i think thats the problem i just need to get a simple card reader that just does cf

what card readers work with the host part of a 3200 as i hate taking my wireless card in and out of my zaurus to put in my 4gb card as my wireless card is broke but it still works the plastic around it is cracked and i dont want to put in more stress on it by taking it out

i want to take my 3200 apart and install another drive in it and run a different distro wondering if i could change out drives install a different boot loader to let me dual but but lets me change out my harddrive when i want  or i this not possible i would still like the instructions on how to take it apart

hey i got a keningstion bluetooth usb adapter but my 3200 does nothing when i insert it i mean the usb does nothing the z still works no lockups or anything
i would like to get it to work
