Sharp ROMs / Wellenreiter, Tckrom and ambicom card?

I checked it. I\'m using javaboy+tkcrom+hostap on a c760. I have wireless extensions, kismet, wellenreiter working now. The linux-wlan-ng drivers should be banned for their coimplicated syntax, hehe.

Use the kernel from javaboy and use the hostap-drivers from www.cacko.biz/~sash/laze.
Works for me on c760 with tkcrom+javaboy kernel on a prism2 card.

I had success for wellenreiter with a prism2 card, and the hostap drivers from www.cacko.biz/~sash/laze on tkcrom with I cant remember which kernel. Basicly I prefer hostap, because iwconfig/iwpriv works, not that long and complicated linux-wlan-ng stuff to configure a card.

javab0y: could I get a version of your kernel with hostap-drivers, too? or do you plan to make them public? Since I have a prism2 card, which works with the wlan-ng-drivers, but I\'d really like to have wireless extensions and iwpriv working (corrently showing 0 private ioctls)

I\'d like to have sox, too. I had it once via debian-packages, but I had to do it by hand, and it had so much dependencies, it was ugly. I dont want to go through it again, now :-)

Didnt work for me, too. Grab wirekismet; works perfectly and has more functions.

Hehe, I definitly know how ettercap works, yeah. It might be a problem because of the usb connection.

usual: thats true, but unfortunately, eventhough ettercap compiles and works in gtk mode, it does *not* see any traffic at all. that must be a special ettercap/arm/zaurus problem, since ettercap on my notebook sees the tcp packages over usb. will try with wlan in the next days, dont have an ap here.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / USB Net fails with the last x11 rom

lekter: I can *not* confirm this with latest ROM on the zaurus and 2.6.0-test9-mm4 on the notebook. Copied a 200MB movie via scp to the SD card, and also connected to the internet (notebook as router) and installed the complete gnome package to the zaurus without any problem. Its maybe a problem on \"the other\", not the zaurus side. Anything in /var/log/messages? What kernel? I\'m using gentoo, too.

theb: i couldnt compile it natively. that is because i culd not compile libpcap, due to the fact that pcap-type is unknown and i didnt know how to fix that. i\'m very interested in ethereal, too, so we should figure that. ettercap compiles fine for me. tcpdump from killefiz.de also works fine. but ethereal would be better.

ethereal is the best network sniffer / analyzer out there.

It\'s still strange that mplayer isnt capable of fullscreen mode (without the black margins). The speed should be there, since e.g. tkcVideo did fullscreen for me with a reasonable speed.

Cool. Are the various fixes described for ipkg / package management also \"installable\" in such a way? I feel they are not installed, too, when keeping user space stuff.
