USB Net fails with the last x11 rom
« on: December 26, 2003, 12:26:43 pm »
First: sash, you are THE BOSS!!! I\'m completely in love with this rom (and xfce as the wm). The Gimp, gnumeric, abiword, ..., it\'s exciting.

Second: For PIM apps on X11, see my last post.

Then, the bug report:
With last rom, I can only transfer 1 MB or so and then the usb/net connection goes down. I have to disconnect the usb wire, /etc/init.d/net.usb0 restart (on gentoo), connect the wire so I can transfer again.

Very thanks for your work. I\'m setting up a dev environment but this is for another post.

lekter: I can *not* confirm this with latest ROM on the zaurus and 2.6.0-test9-mm4 on the notebook. Copied a 200MB movie via scp to the SD card, and also connected to the internet (notebook as router) and installed the complete gnome package to the zaurus without any problem. Its maybe a problem on \"the other\", not the zaurus side. Anything in /var/log/messages? What kernel? I\'m using gentoo, too.

Maybe it\'s something I installed after flashing the rom, because the gnumeric, abiword, and many things went ok. Maybe something is wrong in my gentoo 2.6.0-test11, but it used to work very well.

I will keep investigating...
