Debian / Openoffice

i've just read this message from arm mailing list :

There are working OOo RPMS (sans Java, though) for Fedora/ARM (EABI):

i've just download them all and tried to convert them to .deb with alien but the process fails...

any help ?

EDITED: i'm now trying to get the oabi version and apply the oabi/eabi patches listed here:

OABI people can yet try this version:

no luck : i tried to uncompress the rpm packages as they were eabi. whatever i start (soffice, scalc,...), the program starts, i can see the openoffice slash creen and it seg faults...

I have a basic question about open office. I want to download the source code for OpenOffice Writer. Could you please let me know any link where an i get the source code.  when i was searching for the source code, I got these files to in two formats, they are
OOo_2.4.0_LinuxIntel_install_en-US_deb.tar.gz
and
OOo_2.4.0_LinuxIntel_install_wJRE_en-US.tar.gz
one contains files in debian format and the other as a set of rpm files. With these files i can only upgrade my existing office version.  My intention is to port open office writer into  hand held devices with Intel's  PXA 255 processor and Omaps processor. Could you please help me out in getting this thing done !!!
