Went to Fry\'s today and bought a Socket CF Card, yep the Agere kind.
Shoulda\' made notes on the difference in the two cards\' appearance.
(You know, maybe d/l the photos from socketcom and had them on hand while shopping. That _was_ one of the reasons for buying the Z in the first place.)
The old Socket card looks just like the Symbol CF card, by the way, just different labeling.
To add insult to injury, I learned (too late) that Costco sells the SanDisk 256 MB SD card for USD65 compared to Fry\'s USD80. Bleah!
The one bright spot was the Panasonic RC-HP50 noise-cancelling earbuds.
They do nicely at suppressing \'steady\' noise like fans, not as well with my daughter\'s music. The noise cancelling circuitry housing has a volume control along with the power switch. That makes adjusting the volume _much_ more convenient.
There you have it. Purchase in haste, repent at your leisure.
P.S.
If Agere drivers ever come to fruition, I\'d be grateful.
