General Discussion / Powermanga for the zaurus uploaded

Hi cmisip!

I've installed the ipk, and moved the graphics, sounds and template directory to my FAT formatted SD card.

I run powermanga in my data directory, I can ear a sound for 3 or 4 seconds and after the game crash with : "linuxroutines/chargeFichier() : can't locate file : graphics/BIGSTAR0.SPR"

in my graphics directory I have the file bigstar0.spr in lower case, I've renamed it in upper case but when i make an ls it always appears in lower case, and i'm always getting the same error....

Any idea ?

Is it due to my FAT formatted sd card ?

Hi, I heard it was quite easy to get the mass storage from cacko's ROM but with Sharp I can't get it.

Logically I should just plug the zaurus and then get my Mass Storage but no ?


I want to keep the Sharp ROM to have japanese handwritting recognation ....

Mukei, see on pdafrance, i've replied to your post. It's on the mode setting you need to switch from "pc link setting" to "storage".

Windows Issues / Lotus Notes Sync Solution - Free and Easy

I installed the connector and can use my Notes (6.5 server) mailbox in Outlook almost seamlessly, very impressive. Unfortunately it requires Outlook XP or 2003- I\'ve tried both and can\'t get Intellisync to talk to either. After a complete uninstall and reinstall of Office and Zaurus Intellisync, it just crashes repeatedly when I try and configure the sync between the Z and Outlook. Shame, because I would dearly love to be able to sync my 5600 calendar with Notes.

Well I think i found a solution
I have a treo 600 and a C750, and I synchronise my treo 600 I use intellisync for palm (version v5.00.02) to synchronise it with lotus notes.

Today I\'ve installed the zaurus software on the same box, and in intellisync for zaurus i now have the option to synchronise with lotus notes (I think it uses the connector from the palm version), I\'ve selected and It works!!!!!!

I have successfully synchronised lotus notes with my c750 (mail, tasks, contacts, todos and calendar).

I think that you need  intellisync for palm with the lotus notes connector, a palm desktop (to be able to install intellisync for palm) and the zaurus software for windows...

i tried with libkbdapplet.so, libkopialarmapplet.so and then my Z restart

but it works with libmemoryapplet.so and libfreqchange.so I can check and uncheck it with any restart

Me too, when I click on an .so applet file from the applet manager to check or uncheck it, my z restarts.

It\'s with this that I\'ve been able to get Freecraft running without freeze.....

But I don\'t know if it works with the SL6000

I don\'t think it\'s stratagus that we need to recompile, I think it\'s the sdlLibs that are buggy in version 1.2.6, not stratagus.....

well, i don\'t have any secret.....

I\'ve installed 1.21a patch before installing the game, after i installed the libsdl in version 1.2.6, the stratagus ipk, remove the lib sdl 1.2.6, installed the libsdl 1.2.5 and after it worked....

that is exactly what i\'ve done.....

I use Cacko\'s 1.21a and for me it works....

I did it!!!!!!

know it works on my SL-C750 with cacko\'s 1.21a!!!
It was\'nt a ROM issue but a library issue.

I unistalled libSDL_1.2.6-zports_c7x0-2_arm.ipk and installed version libsdl_1.2.5-slzaurus20031201_arm.ipk and know it rocks!!!!!

I finished the first human mission without any freeze!

I also run \"Invasion - Battle of Survivant\" without freezz (but getting Qtopia\'s memory error messages ignoring it, i have a 60M swapfile...)

Hello all,

I\'m still having the same problem, stratagus freezing when selecting a unit, I\'ve tried with \"Invasion - Battle of Survivant\" http://www.nongnu.org/stratagus-bos/ witch is another dataset for stratagus and i\'ve got exactly the same problem, I can select an harvester, but when i click on another thing it freezes......

This makes me think that the problem isn\'t in the data.wc2 or data.bos directories......
