ok i can use a proxy on the laptop, but that doesn\'t tell me how to setup the current network connection ON THE Z as an USB connection (you can configure only dial-up, wireless or lan connections  )
so far, i haven\'t made that much progress but i thnak you for your answers!

i can ping the zaurus from the laptop and vice versa; now how can i use the usb connection to access internet with opera for example?

Than what type of computer are you trying to connect it to?  

laptop under windows 2k or XP


anyway, i\'ve tried an unstable version of openzaurus and in the network configuration panel there\'s an USB TCP/IP connection type that doesn\'t exist on my Zynergy ROM nor on the original Sharp ROM...

ok everything worked fine but, now how can i use usb as ethernet? i mean there\'s nothing to set it up i the \'network\' menu and the \'current\' pane displays \'no services available\'...

i\'ve got a Z SL-5600 with Zynergy ROM.
how can i have access to the network thru usb? i set up the pc link with \'usb tcp/ip\', i can ping on both sides but i can\'t find any \'usb option\' in the network configuration menu...
pliz help...
