Ok, let get back to Zaurus. Mephistopheles, can you explain your point?

I didn\'t really have a point, but I meant, do you think that at some point the (I\'m picking a random name here) Zaurus SX-8800 will be as powerful as a new desktop PC puchased at the same time? It\'s just a debate topic I started to add variety to the forums. Personally, I think so.

This is more of a debate topic. Do you think that PDA\'s such as the Zaurus will ever be as powerful as mainstream computers? If only the Zaurus could run the upcoming World of Warcraft (a man can dream, can\'t he), then I would be exceedingly happy. Anyway, random ramblings are over for now.

I hope to get an SL-C860 Soon, but I don\'t like the white colour scheme. There was a post by zbones about there being black plastic underneath the silver coating on the Sl-5500, and I was wondering if there is black plastic underneath the white coating on the C860. Has anyone tried? If someone has a broken C860, could they please just scratch it a bit to see? Thanks in advance.

Could anyone please port Nuvie (nuvie.sourceforge.net) to the Zaurus C760/C860? It\'s essentially Exult, only for Ultima VI. I feel that it deserves a place alongside Exult on the Zaurus. I\'d do it myself, but I\'ve never attempted to port anything to the Zaurus before. Many thanks in advance.

Deals and Great Z Buys / C860

After deciding on the C860 instead of the 6000L, I\'ve been looking around as to where I can buy one. Any recommendations? It\'ll be shipping to Canada. Also, how complete is the English translation? Is everything English in the ROM, or do occasional Japanese dialogue boxes pop up? Also, is the keyboard an English keyboard? Many thanks in advance.

One other thing. I\'ll be using it primarily for gaming, playing music, and a bit of notetaking. Browsing the forums, I read that the C860 was good. Any recommendations? The sky\'s the limit for cost, I was going to buy a new computer, but I\'m going with a Zaurus instead.

I\'m debating about whether to buy a 5600 or 6000. I did a search and found one other topic about this, but this was not helpful. How well does the 6000 run software designed for the 5500 or 5600? How well do Doom and Exult, to name a few, run on the 6000? If the only real advantage is the screen, then I think I\'ll just buy the 5600.
