Zaurus - pdaXrom / VIM question

Hello,

My arrow keys don't work in VIM insert mode. In the normal mode the keys work nicely and I can move around with arrows.

When I press the arrow keys in insert mode, I get the last character of the escape secuence (A, B, C or D) and a newline.

I have tried under xterm and aterm, both have the same problem. In plain console, the arrow keys work better but not perfectly.

Surprisingly, in plain old vi I can use the arrow keys perfectly in all modes... But I need syntax highlighting.

Can anyone point me to some config file where the problem might be?

Thanks... I didn't compile it myself, though. I just installed the IPK from pdaxrom.org stable feed.

Hello,

I tried installing mplayer (with packages gtk, libmad, tremor and sdl). When I try running the command "mplayer" I get the following error:

mplayer: relocation error: mplayer: undefined symbol: __clz_tab
Any idea what might be wrong?

I went and started another instance of CPU/mem -monitor from menu/Utilities/Panel. Now how do I kill it / remove items from the panel? Rebooting the system didn't have any effect.

Could everyone who have added an entry for a WLAN card to /etc/pcmcia/hermes.conf and thus managed to make it work, please post the entries here?

This to help other people with their settings and to inform the developers on manfids of different cards. Then all the extra can be added to the next release.

Problem solved by adding the following entry to /etc/pcmcia/hermes.conf:

card "Buffalo WLI2-CF-S11"
  manfid 0x026f,0x030b
  bind "orinoco_cs"

Ok, looks the entry I mentioned just disappeared from the buglist along with some other entries. Now, please fill me in, am I dealing with a bug here or problem between chair and monitor?

Hi,

I have a C860 and Buffalo WLI2-CF-S11 WLAN-card. Wih the stock ROM the card is detected and works with no problem. No success in getting it to work on other ROMs I've tried (pdaXrom, OZ). Both say it's an unsupported card.

pdaXrom 1.0.5 is supposed to support this card. This incompatibility with C860 has been listed as a bug on their site.

Is there anything I can do to work around this except wait for half a year for a fix or buy another card?
