I tried "usbctl on 1" and saw the light on my 6K turn on, but I can't figure out how to get it to connect to my LAN (which has WEP configured). I tried to use the Settings/Internet utility to define a "Service" for my lan, but cannot figure ouit how to get it to start the service.
If I try "/etc/ini.d/wlan start", it says modprobe fail trying to find wlan0.
Is there a LAN setup howto for this ROM somewhere?

The quick way is to put the / partition into read-write mode and then just start deleting the files you don't want from the command line. But be careful because if you delete the wrong files you could have a non-working system. If you just want to hide the icons, you can delete their .desktop files from the QtPalmtop directories.how doi put it in rw mode?

This looks a lot like the Pocketop from Micro Systems. I think it is the one I bought from Fry's in CA and ended up returning because I could not get it work. The only two keyboards I have seen to work are the Pocketop and Targus Universal.The [a href=\"http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA870U]Targus Universal Keyboard[/url] is the one that you are talking about, rigth? how do you connect it to the zaurus? miniusb?

I'm running debian via X/Qt, and I just installed gnuboy-sdl and it seems to run just fine so far. Now I just have to map the hardware keys, and get the thing to scale - gameboy resolution on a 4in VGA screen is pretty darn smallCould you give some specifications of your system, like version of SDL, of gnuboy, you are running with the kernel at 533MHz, and so, please?

I have nto tested this ont eh sharp rom but this is what I would think you need to do:How do you get the wireless net in openzaurus? i just get the dialog where it asks the ip, net, and that kind of stuff but not the wifi settings. I have OpenZaurus on my 6000 right now so Ic an not test that and see if that is correct but if I remember right that is the proccess needed. You will also need to edit /etc/wlan/wlan.conf to point to the correct /etc/wlan/wlancfg-SSID files so that it knows how to connect.
