General Discussion / Mysql 4.1 And Php4

Hi,

I have installed apache 1.3, php4 and mysql 4.1 in my Z 6000L with openzaurus 3.5.3.

Apache and php4 works fine, and mysql too (if i use it from mysqladmin or so). But when i try to connect from a php page, i cant. I think that there is no adecuate library to use for connect to 4.1 version.

Change to 4.0 version is not an option to me because i need 4.1

What can i do?

where did you download the mysql,apache & php4 ipk's files from?

Pues por ahora el sistema va bastante bien desde la tarjeta, aunque todavía no he tenido tiempo de probarlo mucho. Por lo menos, va rápido y ya no tengo problemas de espacio al hacer ipkg.

Por el artículo no hay ningún problema. En cuantos más sitios esté publicado mejor, ya que nosotros hemos tenido bastante problemas para recopilar toda la información, y esperamos que sirva de ayuda a las más gente posible.

Después de varios meses con la Zaurus en el cajón he decidido sacarle provecho. Así que, he pateado la Red buscando información y probado algunas ROMs. Al final, me he decidido por OpenZaurus y, debido a la falta de información en castellano, he escrito un artículo sobre su instalación y otras temas como mover y ejecutar el sistema desde una tarjeta SD, etc.

Por cierto, vendo mis Zaurus a buen precio y con poco uso. Tengo una SL-5600 + CF Linksys Wireless + Cámara de fotos CF de Sharp(cisco), una SL-6000L y varias tarjetas de memoria CF y SD de 512Mb y 1Gb de buenas marcas, de las que no se encuentran sin cruzar el charco.

Then, only 5000/5500 is that posible? What's the difference?

The 5500 has 64mb of RAM and 16mb of Flash.
The 5600 has 32mb of RAM and 64mb of Flash.

So you can only have a maximum of 32mb of RAM with the 5600 with any image available. You can however use a swap file like most 5600 owners do to help this.

Cos a I get script to move root system to SDCard and now I want to get all Z memory as Ram.

I think you meant a 'zImage-64-0', and the answer is no. The 5600 doesn't have 64 megs to use as ram.

It is posible get an Initrd 64/0 for SL5600?
I'm looking for it and I only find for 5000/5500
