it'll probably be back up this weekend... I had 47 hours at work as of last (wed) night... so the idle time isn't easily found.

ok kids... shut down by stolen accounts this time.  I'm told by ebay this is done to entice other bidders with 2nd chance spam emails.  If you bid on it, you're probably going to get one of these, and then one from Ebay explaining it. I'm really sorry to put you all through this. I was so mad at work today I had to leave to work this out. I've been on ebay live support chat for something like six hours today.

If ANYONE is still interested, it'll be relisted again with a new username in a few days. I just can't take this right now.  I'll add the new listing when it goes up.

If you bid on it, or have any interest in bidding on it, please post below here so I know real bidders exist.  I'm never going to use it again, and I really want it to go to someone who will use it.

thanks,

/g

Shameless self promotion...

Well... I haven't posted here since I graduted college, and the Tosa has been living in a drawer.

SO.

My whole rig is going up on eBay.  Thought I'd let the gang know as this isn't something a casual ebay browser would bid on!

um... nope. I play GBA games on my GBA...

my point is that we finally have some touch-only games is existence that don't suck, and I can't wait for someone smarter than me to iron out all the genius stuff.

So,

It seems as though developers for the nintendo DS have given up on any kind of game that has conventional controls (can't compete with an analog stick on the PSP).

I'm a little tired of playing games on my ds (kirby canvas) that are touch screen only, when there is more than enough screen real estate on my 6k to deal with the top and bottom screen of the ds.

my point is this: enough with the super nintendo emulators... the ultimate for us is a DS emulator.  Is anyone on this?

Accessories / Can You Use Pcmcia Cards
« on: August 16, 2005, 03:00:47 pm »
I'm no genius, but I fooled around with this for a while. I think I ran into power consumtion problems. I was trying to run a 5v lucent/orinoco/cabletron/att/whatever pcmcia card over an adaptor. I got the drivers to load, and read from the card, but never managed to enable it as a dev

ok gotta love these cartoons:

apparently they aren't QUITE cool enough to get a silver battery or sled:

http://www.hitachi.co.jp/Prod/vims/solutio...e/pda/spec.html

quick glance, these seem to be accessories available... some are straightforward (SD memory, CF memory, Socket ethernet) but what are "DDI Pockets" and "i-cards?"

6000 - Tosa / USB Mouse?
« on: January 11, 2005, 07:03:37 pm »
hey craig, just taking a lok at your keyboard setup... pretty cool I'm doing just about the same thing sitting in class right now.  I noticed that your'e using the stand that comes with the MI keyboard. I don't know how well it worked with the 5600, but my 6k kept falling off, etc, which wasn't very impressive, so I now use a normal door hinge bent all the way around backwards to hold the compuer up it's a little heavier and holds it at just about the right angle.

later dude
