Security and Networking / Problems Wifi - Software I Think

Hey! I recently purcased an AmbiCom WL1100C and when it works, I love it. I am running cacko 1.21.  

My problem is after a while in netfront on a good network, I start getting errors like Http timeout, bad dns , and tcp write error, on every webpage from google to OE forums.   A reboot fixes it- for a while.  And this is linux!!!!!!          

To fix I am not adverse to reflashing to any rom.

EDIT- much of the time on boot I get an error about the network not working or something. The first word is modprobe, so my guess is some networking kernel module is missing or broken. Too fast to tell the error message though...

Help. I tried to flash my c860 to Cacko today, (no batt, hold ok, power on, opt 4, cf, Y) And in the last confirmation screen, it gives a box wit japenese writing and an ok button. Ok=back!!

What do I do?

Software / Tower Toppler

Hey! Yes I have searched for this- How does one flip a screen? I havce installed toppler on my c860 and it is great! However it is in landscape 240/320- and my screen is below the keyboard.    It works, but is there any way to plip the screen around and have the keyboard below the game? Thanks

Is there anywhere I can download a copy of the sharp audio player? I have just installed Caco rom 1.22, and the only audio player was kino2. I like kino for video, but it is pretty medicore for audio. I couldnt use the caco feed because I do not have a cf network card.

Nice!    I have one problem though- you cannot download off the feed to a PC. I have no zaurus network card

Hey, I have switched from the origonal Sharp Rom on my c860 to the Cacao rom 1.21, and I love it! However, I have one problem. I save HTML webpages onto my cf/sd cards,  and view them on the zaurus using a webrowser. When I navigate to the files in the built in file browser, they open in opera. I personally do not like opera at all. What file do I edit to make them open with netfront? Thanks.

I hve a couple questions.

1. All programs you install in pdax stay on the SD and not in the Z memory, right?

2. And how does one format an SD card to ext3 on the Z?

3. Where do you find gtar?
