Zaurus - pdaXrom / Matchbox-panel's Font
« on: January 15, 2005, 08:36:38 am »
Hi, Pete.

Thanks for your advice.

I'd read the documents in the Matchbox site.

To change fonts for matchbox-panel, I must write '.desktop' file which have *same* name as *Matchbox-WM* theme. But, pdaXrom use the Openbox for WM. I have no idea to give a name to a .desktop file. In this case, I should use a default theme name? What is the default?

Is there a anybody who knows how to change fonts in this case.

Hi.

I have a same trouble on my CF card. My CF card is a IBM MicroDrive 340MB.
I think it needs more power to wake up. Most CF cards drives on 3.3V, but my MicroDrive drives on 5V.

Hi, Nico (Sam Hell).

To set the partition higher than 45MB,  You must use C760's Kernel rather than C750's one.

See.

Hi.

I want to change the fonts for MatchBox-Panel's menu and clock.

I found some theme directories for OpenBox (ex.)/usr/share/themes/*/openbox-3/), but I could not found any theme for Matchbox.

Please give me Informations or Advices.

Hi, Alan.

How to install RC8 into my C750.

On Linux PC(or your Z)
1: Extract tools.tar
    tar xvf tools.tar
2: Copy the C760 kernel on the C750 kernel.
    cp ./tools/kernel-c760/zImage.bin ./tools/kernel-c750/zImage.bin
3: Remake tools.tar
    mv tools.tar tools.tar.orig
    tar cvf tools.tar ./tools/
4: You will use this tools.tar to install RC8.

On Your C750

Hi!

I had same problem in rc5 on my C750.
I made some symlinks from /mnt/card/usr/local/lib to /usr/local/lib, but after rebooting these disapeared.
Now, I don't have same problem in rc8.

Hi, all!

The C750 Kernel in tools.tar includes a bug which limits the / size to 45MB.
After I installed the C760 Kernel on my C750,  It seems to work good.
My C750's / size is 57MB now.
