I bought my Zaurus SL-C1000 there and it took  1 week to come from Tokyo to my little house

For the replies to e-mail yes it's true they didn't reply to me neither.

But my Akita is here ... and not overpriced.

C1000/3x00 Hardware / C1000 Screen Protection

Hi all,

As a new Zaurus user/owner I'd like to protect my C1000  with a screen protection, I found several websites where I could buy it from, but I could only find protection for C3000 or Cxxx series.

In my mind the Cxxxx screens are all the same right ?

I can't find any other information than resolution, color depth about Zaurus' screens.

Can anybody tell me if I'm right or wrong ?

In advance Thanks !

Sharp ROMs / Ipkg Questions...
« on: February 26, 2006, 04:05:08 pm »
Hi all,

I received my Z(akita) 3 days ago, flashed it to get cacko 1.23 full running on it. Till then no probs at all, everything works just fine (WiFi ....). (I kept the original 64/64 partitioning)

I tried to download some packages (qpdf2, smbclient...) and, although I could install smbclient without troubles any other packages won't install and i get a "ipkg says something went wrong" error message.  (I'd like to install them into internal flash memory)
I tried to download packages several times to ensure there wasn't transfer issues.

I'm new to the Zaurus/embedded linux world.

Does ipkg requires a specific conf or something ?
Is the ipkg-tools packages necessary ? if yes why ?

Is there any ipkg reference that could help me ???

In advance thank you !

EDIT: OK guys, I feel realy stupid.... I didn't check dependencies .... shame on me
