Step 2: Extract the rootfs tarball to the target media: tar -xjpf zaurus_eabi_rootfs_071128.tar.bz2 -C /path/to/the/target/media

I did:

cd /mnt/card
tar -xjpf zaurus_eabi_rootfs_071128.tar.bz2 -C /mnt/hd/

This made me /mnt/hd/mnt/card/ directories - which I had to move to /mnt/hd/ manually - verified on desktop - the archive contains /mnt/card/ path.

yes i forgot that one too  i had to move them too

about your console problem, just try to wait a little after the message. if it doesn't work, just reboot removing the battery and try again. it worked for me.

I had this too - you can use the '--strip-components 2' option. This way tar will remove two top directory levels leaving just the root layout in the target extraction directory. That is you won't need to move everything two levels up afterwards.

Hello everyone,

The unit is in good condition except for one small scratch on the bezel (see picture). The screen doesn't have any marks as it has always been under a screen protector. The battery is 6 months old - bought it from Laptopsforless.com. Everything you see on the picture is going to be included: cradle, AC adapter, stylus, camera card, and screen protector. I can also throw in a case, USB charging cable, and an external charger that takes four AA batteries (made it myself from Radioshack parts). Still have the original battery - can add it as well.

I'm in the US and will accept money order, certified check, or Paypal. Shipping is included in the price if the buyer is from the continental US. Will ship overseas but actual shipping is going to be extra so please ask for a quote first. I'll try to find the most economical way - most likely USPS.
