General Discussion / 5500 Package manager problem!

Problem seems to be with my PNY SD256 card - if I remove that then I don\'t get the problem. I can access the SD card ok otherwise, i.e. move around directories on it, copy and delete files - it just seems to be when the package manager is looking for packages!

I was trying to load a software package(qpe-terminal, maybe - can\'t remember exactly but it was something that had loaded perfectly well before) - anyway all that I now get is \"Searching for packages\" message + the eggtimer  and the only way out of it seems to be a reset(with the switch on the back) then after it reloads and I try the same - same result. Any clues  how I get out of this situation?

Thinking about getting a CF GPS card for my 5500. Any opinions on which is the best? Cheapest? Most reliable?

Accessories / 5500 Wireless SD cards?

I thinking about getting a wireless interface card to my 5500 and have seen some good reviews on the Linksys WCF12(and some not so good ones too!). However, I have a 256MB CF card and so wondered if there are any SD wireless cards for the 5500. Any one have experience(preferably good) of such a beast?

Sharp ROMs / Newbie - Sharp ROM upgrade

I want to upgrade my ROM from v2.35 to v3.10.  So I\'ve got the ROM upgrade instructions and a zipped ROM file. However according to the instructions when I unzip the file I should have a file called \"romimage\" but I have a file called \"Ospack\".

Have I got the wrong zip file in the first place?
