That powerpack looks like it would be a good solution. Was it wasy to build? Is it used to just charge, or does it act like a high-capacity battery without charging the internal one on the Zaurus?

Has anyone used the Think Outside IR keyboard with a Zaurus? It can also go by the name of the Palm Universal keyboard.

How long can I expect from battery of the Zaurus SL-5500? I need a new PDA for school, and a Zaurus is my first choice. I'll mainly be doing word processing, probably using an IR keyboard. Backlight on. how long could I get without swapping the battery? If it couldn't make it through the school day on a single charge, how many batteries would I need to buy to get through? And finally, how long would it last surfing via wi-fi?

Will my Think Outside IR keyboard work with Zauri? And if so, what would it take to make it happen? After all, Linux drivers aren't included with the keyboard...
