Cosmo Communicator - Sailfish OS / Sailfish on Cosmo - some Information from Jolla ..

...why do they sell Cosmos saying with SF support, if there's no available version for it?... just like in case of Gemini, there also could've been released an older SF version ported for Cosmo, that can be upgraded later... for example SF 3.0, if it is already available.

Actually, if you read Planet's statements, they say that they sell Gemini and Cosmo with Android support out of the box.......and the devices able to run with other OS's such as Sailfish and linux. They never say 'they' meaning Planet will necessarily provide the other OS's themselves. Big difference.

Planet is a very small company with very limited internal resources.

heh... well... despite this I am pretty much sure, that a lot of people bought the Cosmo only because Sailfish will run on it. Anyway, I am also satisfied with the Gemini&SF combo (even now I am posting this on the Gemini - btw, @oesf admins, would it be possible to set this page so that it should not need reloading if browsing from Gemini with SF?  )

Well, there's always the chance that I am wrong....

 


But we shall see.....

In meantime, I am enjoying my Cosmo....

Na gondoltam rákérdezek, valaki még írt-e a fejleszt?knek, hogy a magyar kiosztás közeledjen a szabványhoz? Valszin a célegyenesben van a cosmok gyártásának a kezdete, úgyhogy most lenne itt az id?.... Elég a fenti levelet bemásolni, és ott az email cím is, vagyis pár percnél nem több az egész..

sziasztok, de reg jartam erre. ki a 4. user? nem csak 3an vagyunk?
most rendeltem cosmot...

jaaa.... nem, ugyan magyart kertem, de 2 honap varakozas utan, mikor rakerdeztem, hogy hol van mar, akkor kozoltek, hogy hat elfogyott, vagy epp nincs, vagy varni kell, vagy ilyesmit. es akkor kicsit gyanus lett, hogy esetleg nem is volt egyaltalan, de ezek szerint volt, mert te azt kaptal.
(viszont ha elkapkodtak, haha, akkor hol van a tobbi magyar gemini birtokos?...  )
szerintem siman nincsenek kepben a magyar layouttal, a szivenszurt L betu a lengyel abc-hez tartozik.
hat nezd, igy nem nagyon tudok ra mit mondani, nyilvan a klasszik magyar asdf keyb layoutjat kene kozeliteni.

szia, bocs, mostanaban nem jartam erre.
ha az altalad jelolt billentyukre teszik az e', a', o", stb karaktereket, akkor mi lesz azokkal a karakterekkel, amik most vannak ott? egyebkent kimaradt a felsorolasbol a hosszu i.
olyasfele megoldas nem jatszhat, mint Jollan a magyar keybnel, hogy megnyomva egy gombot (pl a funkcio vagy egyeb gombot) ezek a maganhangzok 'ekezetesednek'? (majd csinalok screenshotot, hogy hogy nez ki)

Gemini PDA - Sailfish OS / Making a screenshot with SFOS?

I want to put up a picture of the Gemini running Xplanet-desktop but I can't figure out how to make a screenshot on the Gemini runnung SFOS. For the Xperia X it's holding both volume controls at once, but that doesn't seem to work with the Gemini. Anybody know?

you may also try to use the ScreenTapShot app from Openrepos.

A kérdés tulajdonképpen nem a sailfish képességére, hanem a kompatibilitásra vonatkozott. De gondolom nyilván semmi nem kompatibilis a másikkal, hiszen pont azért másik OP.

Android alapból teljesen használhatatlan, az összes valódi funkcióra (pld fent) kénytelen voltam külön programot venni. Kb a "telefon" az egyetlen progi, amiből a stock-ot lehet használni.

Ettől függetlenül nem minden működik. Pld powerpoint előadásokat van hogy rosszul nyit meg az OfficeSuite, annak ellenére, hogy a premium verziónak elvileg mindent kellene tudnia.

Magyar helyesírás ellenőrzése pedig szinte lehetetlen, mivel az android csak egy nyelv beállítását teszi lehetővé, és a levelezés miatt be kellett állítanom az angolt.

ertem. sailfish tamogatja az androidot (de anelkul is lehet hasznalni, en is igy hasznalom, mert sose volt droidos eszkozom, meg nem is lesz), pont ezert szeretik azok, akik kicsit tobbre vagynak egy akarmilyen okostelefonnal. magyar helyesiras ellenorzesrol nem tudok, hogy van-e benne, de egy  ekkora keszulek nem is biztos, hogy az, amin nekiallnek szoveget szerkeszteni. de ha nincs mas, akkor valoban sokkal jobb, mint egy telefon.

power pointot sose nyitogattam rajta, de word, excel nyithato. szerkesztest sem probaltam, miota geminim van. de droid-sf kompatibilitasrol szerintem sok infot talalsz itt is a forumon, meg jolla forumokon is: together.jolla.com-on. ha nem vagy elegedett a droiddal ugy en bloc, szerintem meger egy probat.

naptar, email kliens, dokumentumkezelo van sailfishre is. de nem akarok meggyozni senkit, nekem tokmindegy, mit hasznalsz.

Gemini PDA - Hardware / USB Hub

Guys, do you know some magic how to make the usb hub work under sailfish?

My hub just works, well the USB part anyway. Neither the HDMI or Ethernet work, but that is expected. the hub itself works fine. I have attached hard drives, usb drives and joysticks with no issue. Just remember hubs to the left,  single device (via an adapter if necessary) to the right.

mine does not work under sailfish. i guess it needs some driver or patch. i tried it with my notebook and the hub works, i just cannot use it with my gemini.

Azzal telefonálni is lehet? Vagy akkor csak egy mini compjúter?

persze, hogy lehet, elsosorban telefonra keszult oprencer a sailfish. szerintem sokkal emberbaratabb, mint a droid.
