Sharp ROMs / Cacko 1.22 And Lotus Notes 6
« on: January 03, 2005, 03:18:26 pm »
All,
I have been pulling my hair out to get Lotus Notes 6 and Cacko 1.22 to sync on my c860 but no luck with the Calendar. Notes crashes and generates an nsd_all_<????????????>.log file. I am able to get the Address Book and To Do list to sync without a problem but this calendar sync is giving me pain. Is there an easier way to sync between WinXP and Cacko 1.22 on the C860? I am currenly using Intellisync. Thank you.

Sharp ROMs / Tcp Write Error
« on: December 29, 2004, 11:59:56 am »
When I use a Bluetooth PAN connection, after a while Netfront (or any other client) gives a pop-up window titled "Content Error". THe discription in the window states that it is a "TCP write error". Even if I drop the connection and re-connect I get that error. I could only get rid of it by re-booting. Any way around it?

Sharp ROMs / How To Get Access Using Bluetooth Pan

I have bluetooth PAN set up and am able to browse the internet using Netfront and Opera on my C860 with cacko 1.21b. I have FreeProxy on WinXP and use that to get on the internet from the Z. The problem is that any other clients even Konsole on the Z are not able to ping IPs since they do not use the proxy settings since the settings only work for HTTP and FTP. Is there a way to set a general Proxy in Cacko 1.21b?

I guess the question I really want an answer to is how can I ping an IP from Konsole using a Bluetooth PAN connection? Thank you.

Sharp ROMs / How To Sync Calendar With Bluetooth?
« on: December 16, 2004, 10:34:50 am »
The howto mentions installing packages but I thought that Cacko 1.21b had all that was needed. Can someone indicate what needs to be done on Cacko 1.21b to enable Intellisync to work with Bluetooth using Socket card Rev. F?

Thank you

tumnus, I am with you. I think it should be that simple. Do you have it working like that? My only concern was with Intellisync and Zaurus Manager. Do I need to do anything special there?

Sharp ROMs / Getting the Socket WLAN CF to work with Cacko 121b
« on: November 11, 2004, 06:33:50 pm »
If you have a Socket WLAN CF card and Cacko 1.21b ROM and cannot connect, just turn off auto-connect and re-insert the card. It works out of the box that way.
