I wouldn\'t risk it. Having them replaced here may or may not solve the problem and will probably run you the same cash. Good things come to those who wait. Plus you will appreciate your device that much more in two weeks.

Guys,

My Linksys WCF12 card does not seem to function properly under this ROM. It is detected, and I can try to make a wifi connection, but after a little while the device seems to timeout and is ejected. Any help would be most welcome, as I do not want to revert to the older rom. Thanks.

Upon further inspection it appears that I do not have WEP capabilities. When i turn off wep everything works fine. This feature worked very will in cacko 1.0.0. Thanks.

Actually, personally I was under the impression that mixing is done at the software level, especially doing things such as wave-forming in order to achieve a different acoustic effect, for example in order to multiply the low-end. But I don\'t know for sure so I may be talking out of my ass.

Yes. That is my point exactly. It is kind of depressing as I was hoping to eliminate the Rio MP3 player from my commute and running around the city, it is big and clunky, I thought the Zaurus would do a good job. It has thus far failed me, and their is no solution is site. Funny, when i tried the Cacko rom, XMMS wouldnt play the sound at all. Hmph, oh well. Anyone have any suggestions for how to port a mixer to boost the bass, is their a console mixer that someone can suggest?

i am talking about the sound quality through the headphones  of course.  Like i said the sound quality is very good but there is no bass. I like progressive house and i am using excellent deep ear canal sony headphones. With my rio mp3 cd player they sound amazing. So the question is/ is there a way to increase the bass.

I use the standard music player on my C860 but the sound just isnt up to snuff. Although the quality is crisp and clear there is almost no bass. I feel like the treble is at full and the bass is at null. Is there anything i can do about this?

So, the oddest thing. Gaim installed like a Champ logs on to services like a champ, other than MSN and IRC.

When I send people messages they get them, but when someone sends me a message all i get is \"there was an error receiving this message\" in the chat box. Oddly, im able to chat in chat rooms just fine.

If anyone has any idea, i would really appreciate it. Thanks very much.

You asked for link to rom for c-760, here it is. I used one from same company for my c860 it worked like a Charm. I\'d bet good money this will work for you. Best of luck dude.

yeah, like albert says if you get service menu then it aint bricked, find someone or buy a 256 meg sd and give it another go

I had a very similar problem. I had a known good rom and I wasnt able to do a nand reflash. The rom i got was one from a german company that sells zarus c860. It has a known good rom available on its site for c860 and 7xx. I was getting samew problem using a compact flash and i had to use an sd card to reflash it. Try a different card. It can be very finicky.
