C/C++ compiler for SL-C860??
« on: April 01, 2004, 06:09:56 pm »
I\'m using the cacko X11 rom on my SL-C860 right now but its missing one thing I really want, a C/C++ compiler.  Anyone know what rom that\'ll work on my SL-C860 will also have a native C/C++ compiler?

Don\'t think there\'s a ROM w/built in C/C++ compiler, but you can use the dev_img-1.4 cramfs, see <http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=UpDownload&file=index&req=viewsdownload&sid=66> for the \"Developer Image\"
sl-c760, Cacko 1.22a 'Full', Panasonic 1GB SD, Transcend 512MB CF-I, Symbol wireless worker PN#LA4137, Voice Recorder Kit (CE-VK1), KDE-PIM 2.0.19

zgcc works better for me than dev_img, it\'s a cramfs too (actually 2 cramfs files) and comes with a mounting and environment setup script. Was able to compile the source for tkcTrump on the Z using this, as well as gnu tar.

Sorry don\'t have the link on hand, but ig you google for zgcc you\'ll find it easily enough - should work on any rom.
