and don't think about borrowing my girlfriends address because I am actually going to use hers to order my card(for testing purpouses).

Thanks for pointing this out.  I am just about finished with my obligations and this weekend is going to be cool for zaurusthemes because ill be adding much more wallpapers.  Ill be flashing pdaxii13 as well looking at a few details regarding the buuf icons and some wallpapers.  I need to see how it behaves with certain wallpapers for landscape or portrait before posting any.  but for sure, ill be adding tons and tons of 640x480 which i been collecting.  I roughly have over 40000 plus wallpapers and some have become corrupted.  I need to either restart or just throw away the ones corrupted.  Many issies are holding me back.

Not sure if you are referring to the novell suse and microsoft deal.  They tried providing a blanket before over and over again even with feeding SCO money for some type of blanket protection  and nothing came out of it and now they are trying it again.  IBM had the patents long before microsoft ever did and those are long become "free" to say it in a certain perspective.  I think microsoft is just asking for it and if IBM steps up, will toss in a salad bowl with dressing while microsoft will try to lure you with a pee.

I been reading up on alot and they are playing the laying the stuff on the table without showing proof!  They have nothing.  What they want is for the FOSS to pay up without showing proof of infringement.  I don't think this is going to happen at all.  They are just upset vista isn't selling well.

Since you are use to using fedora and ubuntu, I recommend Meanie's pdaxii3(not sure if i spelled it right).  please make a sig for people to better help you.  it is still in development and not too stable for a newcomer but the solutions to the various problems are in the forums.

oh MAN!  I just updated to a 8gb cf card.

To be honest, i had alot of problems making my 8gb work but it works fine.  The terminal was very buggy!  i was patient attempting like 8 hours till i made it work.  Anyway, I am very tempted to trying this.

if you are using the cacko rom on the c-3200, I recommend this file.

Here is a scenario.
while browsing for your cf card or wifi or bluetooth, you realize it doesn't work or you cannot see the cf card in the file system.  For some odd reason, it vanishes mysteriously!  My answer is this!

to solve the issue with the cf problem after a reboot or a resume suspend which sometimes occurse, i created an executable located in the multimedia section called "cf-refresh" and what this does it refreshes the card for you so you do not need to physically pull the card out and reinsert it back in to make it work.

Try it!  YOU REALLY NEED IT!

I currently play full movies on my zaurus, have an extensive audio library with my 16gb diskspace, literally run over 2000 games on my zaurus, have the wikipedia on my zaurus hardrive, that is only for entertainment.  It basically is my pc away from home.

this is simple.  sorry for my bad grammer because i am in a car being driven around while typing this on my Z.

first, download and install simple-edit_1.0.3_arm.ipk (do not run under root!)

open  simple edit and create a file called "myapplication.sh" in documents

use this code and save it
remember to modify the directory since this is my directory i use.

exit 0copy this file into the /home/QtPalmtop/bin directory and the permissions should be fine since you created the file under zaurus.  if it does not execute/ then get back to us and ill show you how to apply user right to allow file execution.  I did this on my zaurus and works just fine
now crate the icon in the tab manager and put the file name exactly like the file you created in the directory and there you have it.  you will need to hold the icon down and remove the magnify option since opera runs in full screen.

Not sure if this will help but when I had issues accessing my wifi with no encryption, I lowered the speed of the wifi router.  I hope you get my drift.  So I don't use wireless g and went down to something slower.
