grog - I tried d/l'ing the ipk to my Z and then using aqpkg to install instead of from the shell prompt and I get the error 'Cannot find the package share-camera-support' and the install fails.  I'm baffeled.  Are you using the Henges ROM version of 3.5.2 or OE's 3.5.2 ROM?  That could be the difference.

I cannot get that to  install.   Here's what I get:

ipkg -dest sd install http://www.vanille.de/temp/sharp-camera-su...x-r4_poodle.ipk

Downloading http://www.vanille.de/temp/sharp-camera-su...x-r4_poodle.ipk
Clearing state_want and state_flag for pkg=sharp-camera-support (arch_priority=0 flag=16 want=2)
Cannot find package sharp-camera-support.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'
An error ocurred, return value: 4.

You're right.  Knowing what to move is a shot in the dark if you don't have the indepth knowledge the OZ-Guru's have.  I had to go back to thekompany ROM last night so I could recover some stuff I'd doumented in tkcmemo (which won't run on 3.5.2, even with oz-compt) and then reflashed with 3.5.2  and am slowing removing apps I don't need and watching the free space on /.  It's not growing very fast.  Even moving /home to the sd card and sym-linking to it does not help much.  Do you know if you use a 32/32 or another ROM besides than 60/0 if there is a difference?

Samac - I've noticed that other ROM's have more space available and don't fill up as fast as the 3.5.2 ROM with a 64/0.  I've been messing around with the 3.52 and see the same problem that you have.  I wonder if movin /opt to the sd card will help or cause problems.

It makes no difference if I run them with or without the oz compat libs.  None of thekompany apps will run for me.  I've removed and re-installed and reset with compat libs but no joy.  I can't figure it out.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / 3.5.2 - Problems, Fixes, Questions

CoreDump - Have you heard of any problems installing tkc app onto the latest Hentges ROM.  I have a 64-0 kernel and a 128MB SD card and installed the cardfs-opie-full-openzaurus bin file on first boot up.  All went great and looks great.  But when I try to install any of the tkc app's to the sd card the install seems to go ok but the applications will not run.  Any ideas?

Sharp ROMs / Kismet + AmbiCom WL1100C + Cacko Qtopia 1.21B

Kismet has always worked for me with any one of the openzaurus roms.  I've also had good luck with OZ recognizing wireless cards as well.

But I am having problems getting kismet to work with the Sharp 3.10 ROM and a DLink DCF-660W.  That's how I ran across your message.

Has anyone gotten the D-Link DCF-660W working with 3.3.6-pre1? I\'ve added the lines to the /etc/pcmcia/config file:

card \"D-Link DCF-660W\"
manfid 0x601, 0x0005
bind \"orinoco_cs\"

stopped and started the pcmcia service and ejected/inserted the DCF-660W and it still gets recognized as a Zcomax XI-325H and no network.

That and of course there\'s no wep configuration available in the network config utility.

Sharp ROMs / GUIs for Programs?

Has anyone had problems after flashing with this rom?  I keep getting a \"root  password garbled\" error asking me to enter the root password to enter maintenance mode or Ctrl-D to continue.
