I cant get Opie-Console to connect to a Nortel switch using the Serial mode.
I've also tried Terminal from ZSI and Kermit off the Console feed.
Nothing.
I may be using the programs wrong. Im not even sure that the serial cable works.
Could someone take the time to explain howto get a Serial Console working in 3.5.2?
Even a confirmation that someone has it working would help.
I've stopped Getty from respawning on /dev/ttyS0 in /etc/inittab and rebooted.
Still nothing.
Oh I wish there was a way to delete this and spare myself the shame.
I got it working. Turns out it was entirely my fault over a stupid thing.
