Screen Ghosting On Cacko Lite 1.22
« on: February 15, 2005, 11:25:57 am »
I just switched to the Cacko Lite version 1.22.
Must say this is a very good choice - now I have loads of memory space free for apps I need instead of wasting space to apps that came default which I never used.

Great work.

Now for the problem - the command line command
echo 75 > /proc/driver/w100/fastsysclk  doesnt seem to work on my C750 (as SU).

Of course it always worked when I was on the earlier ROM's upto the full blown 1.22, but now on the lite version it doesnt seem to do anything.
The ghosting still seems to remain as before.

How do  solve this ???
New no more-C1000 / 5000D (sold my 6000 and 750) | Cacko ROM 1.23 on C1000 | 256 MB CF | 2GB PNY SD card | Socket Networker WiFi CF Card | USB Host cable from StreamlineCPUS | Mini Microphone (for voice recording) |

If you have not already edit /opt/QtPalmtop/qpe.sh and uncomment the line:

'echo 75 > /proc/driver/w100/fastsysclk'

then reboot your Z.  If that does not solve the problem then you would have to look at this pdaxrom thread for tweaking your display:

BE CAREFUL you can hose your display.  I do not know of any other way to fix this issue.
