I have successfully installed Debian "Big" using the X/Qt set up with my SL-C860, so I know how to get that going. I wanted to try the "Base" version because a lot of stuff doesn't work with the "Big" version and I'd like to build around what does work.
I followed the same instructions on Hatchetman's wiki that I used for the "Big" version. However, when I try to run the "Base" install, the X/Qt server starts and then the launch fails.
Is there something I need to tweak with the "Base" installation that I don't have to do with "Big"?
