I just found this link and it seems to indicate that SDIO is available on the C3000.  Can some of our Japanese-capable member help?

It would be nice to use the SD slot for WiFi.  Socket has a low power WLAN card that's about the same price as their CF card.   Thanks for any info!
C3K, Sharp ROM 1.11 JP, Tetsu v18h kernel
ka/pi and ko/pi 2.2.7 on C3K and winXP

Use a site with the Amikai translator. It is the best one. For instance this site http://www.infoseek.co.jp/Honyaku?pg=honyaku_top.html

However, your URL won't work unless you remove the #a10 at the end. Paste the URL into the WEB area of the form. Then select the second radio button beside the English flag. And then press the web button to translate. You can click on links in the translated version and they will be translated and then loaded for you.

The page refers to a Japanese Air-H card which is a Japan-only wireless technology. The AH-S101S card is listed on the Conics website here http://conics.net/shp/pda/zaurus-sl-c700/sl-c3000/

Thanks for the pointer on the Amikai translator.  It is good to know that SDIO is supported and I'll keep an eye on the list of peripherals added to the Sharp website.
