Adding Apps to Tabs

I\'m trying to add some Apps to my tabs in OZ3.3.5, I have installed Tab Manager and it lets me make .desktop files but when I tell it what to run (exec) it keeps losing what I put in. Do the binaries that these .desktop files start have to be in a certain directory?
