Landscape Vs. Portrait Mode
« on: May 31, 2005, 08:14:36 am »
Hello,

I have installed outliner-demo on my C3000 Cacko 1.23b but I cannot start it.
In the icon properties, "magnified screen" is checked but I cannot uncheck it.

If I start it from the console it says "Display size = 480x640" and nothing else for about 2 minutes. After two minutes it says "QPixmap::convertFromImage: cannot convert a null image outliner-demo".

I have seen several programs behaving similarly (not starting up in poertrait mode but unable to uncheck the magnified screen checkbox).

1. How can I make them start up in landscape more?

2. How can a program be forced to strat up in a specific mode from the console?

Thanks

daniel

Also,  I am wondering if there is a shell (linux) command to cause the mode to switch between portrait and landscape?

The 6000 has a key for switching...is there a key dedicated to this on the 3000?
