Porting to the 860
« on: January 29, 2004, 12:42:43 am »
Can someone tell me what is involved in porting the ipks from the 5x00 to the 860? For example, xmms works with the compat libs, it just runs at the old resolution. Is this something I can fix? If someone would show me how, I would volunteer to do other packages. There are becoming more of us who use the 860s and I would like to help out.

Someone let me know.

I rather recommend porting packages from our old OpenZaurus buildroot to the new OpenEmbedded build system, then you can recompile them against the latest libs as found in OpenZaurus 3.3.6-pre1.
