Know Of Calculator With Paper Tape?
« on: June 29, 2005, 01:48:45 am »
I am looking for a clacuialtor for the Zaurus SL-C860 that has a scrolling paper tape, so that I can review the entry of the steps of a calculation. Does anyone know of a calculator with this feature?

I second this request. The old zaurus zr5000 had one and I used it all the time.

I've got an old casio with a paper printer, which you could probably hack to interface to the Z over serial, you could have it for free, if anyone's willing to pay the postage :-)

This would be a perfect project for the "developer's school" that people were discussing in another thread. Maybe somebody who is good at Qt could whip up a simple program for this and share the source.

p.s. For speculatrix: I think they mean a simulated paper tape...
