http://people.bath.ac.uk/enpsgp/Zaurus/rom...50927164927.binBuilt slightly before the RCs themselves, but exactly the same bar the addition of cpufreq support. This was built for a GPE image (there's a small difference for opie images - the bootsplash stuff), I imagine it should work fine with an opie initrd.bin though and there are no kernel module differences etc., as the cpufreq stuff is compiled in so it's otherwise the same as the RC builds.
A bit of info about cpufreq & its use:
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_make_...equency_ScalingI'd recommend using the ondemand governor:
# echo ondemand > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
(by default it runs the performance governor which just runs the processor at full speed).
I've been pretty busy with other things and haven't been able to do any battery life testing, so I thought I'd throw this out and see if anyone wants to have a go and report back.
It all works fine BTW - I've been running a cpufreq kernel for the past 1 or 2 months without any issues (and so has hrw afaik and I've not heard of any troubles from him either).
