No Gui Starting
« on: October 30, 2005, 12:52:51 pm »
Ok, this is my first time flashing to OpenZaurus. I flashed from Sharp 3.13, and it seemed to work fine. I renamed the zImage to 'zImage', and the opie to 'initrd.bin'. It seemed to flash fine, and it boots fine, but when it get to the end of booting, no GUI starts. I'm left in the command line, and it won't let me login as 'zaurus' or as 'root'. I don't know the password for either. Suggestions? HELP!!!

3.5.3. I looked at the file size, and I guess it didn't download all the way. So I re-downloaded it, and it's the right size and everything. Is there anyway to get USB networking working on the command line? That's the only way I can put something on the CF card. Suggestions?

Always check md5sum before flashing to be 100% sure that you got file right.

'ifconfig usbd0 FIXED_IP" should work
