Compaq Compact flash modem for zaurus ?

Hello everybody, is there a zaurus user who knows if the compaq CF modem   (a photo of the card) is compatible with the zaurus (i own a C760 but if it is compatible with an another zaurus it should be fine) .Thank you !

Yes, I use an ambicom CF56M-EZ with a 5500 and a 5600. The specs on that card “seem” to be the same.

I use a Targus CF modem, it says on the back "Pocket Modem 56K V.90 Model # PA560". It worked with my C750 right out of the box (in all distros - OpenZaurus, stock Sharp and pdaXrom).

Nope... We tested this card in 3 notebooks, 2 zaurus ( sl-c3k and sl-c1k ), and on one jornada 720. Only worked in one of these notebooks, a hp nx9005.

I changed this card with a xircom modem.

Would you please send me the Init strings you are using.  I can't get my ambicom CF56M-EZ to get past Initialization stage and dial out.
