Bluetooth
« on: December 26, 2005, 12:11:24 pm »
I got a socket bt/cf card now I would like to transfer file to and from my z, I have a linux desktop. Any good (easy) tutorials on this subject?

I got my kubuntu to see the zaurus, and got the zaurus to connect, now how do I setup say a download/upload directory, on both sides. So I can down/upload files to/from the z or my kubuntu laptop?

I haven't personally done this, but there appears to be plenty of documentation.  You just need bluez and the obex tools.

cacko includes a bluetooth PAN connection tool, so just set up the bluetooth pin at each end, ensure the desktop is running "pand --listen"

on the zaurus:
    sdptool browse
to ensure it's connecting OK to the desktop

then you can use pan networking.
