Cacko + Sl-c3100 + Wcf11

I'm having a lot of trouble with cacko and my linksys wcf11, if I configure the connection to connect to a WEP wifi (I put the WEP and fixed IP and all) then it connects perfect and into the lan, everything works. I have tryed this on my house and on my girlfriends house, both with WEP. Now, I put a standard connection without specific ESS-ID and then it doesn't locate the open wifi of one of my girlfriends neighbords. Then I didn't check that much. Now I'm with my grandparents in the middle of Madrid, I have started wereiller and I see 11 wifi points, 5 of those points are not protected at all (6 have WEP) then my zaurus is unable to connect to any of the open points.

My conclusion after testing a lot is that for some reason it simply doesn't work for a open connection. I have even tryed to uncheck the ESS-ID and write down the name of the SID, then wrote the IP and DNS (even if there is a DHCP I have got then from my computer) and there is no way the cacko isn't connecting at all on the open wifi, the auto connect option is sometimes checked sometimes not (tryed both) what I'm not doing okay ???? I simply don't understand, with WEP it works without not...

I have putted a complete entry of the open Sid. If I check the Non-Spec ESS-ID then it doesn't connect. If I fill up all the infos (SID, IP, DNS) it doesn't connect either. Then I filled up really everything (Domain) and then, hop, it worked, then I unconnect and connect and it doesn't work again...

I have 5 open Wifi around me, and I don't connect to any of them as long as I don't write everything and even then it doesn't connect easily to open wifi.

related to the Domain somehow ?
