Hp F1252a Vga-out On Openzaurus
« on: January 14, 2006, 08:58:30 am »
I was wondering whether there are any X-windows drivers available in openzaurus (or which could be compiled in for the HP F1252A PCMCIA video adapter.
Aparently, there were iPAQ drivers (xserver-tiny-h3600_4.2.20030126-14_arm.ipk).
It is a trident chipset.

These cards are out of production but are still available occasionally, would be a good option for portable displays like

Not sure if it's possible, but I would be happy to test this on the 3100 if I can get some pointers on how to compile the support into X-windows
Zaurus C3100, CE-RH2, Socket lowpower CF Wifi, Socket CF Bluetooth
pdaXrom r198 - testing!, IceWM, Bluetooth modem: Sony Ericsson v600i with 3G.
see some howtos and tips at http://greenant.net/portal/greenant/wiki/Zaurus3100

You'll probably get more info if you try the mailing lists - gpe or handhelds, or try IRC #gpe or #handhelds.

The iPAQ drivers will still exist as it's all part of OpenEmbedded now.
