You may want to check out what software you can run and what capabilities it has since the experience of a GPS device tends to be governed by that. Practically speaking there is only zroadmap that offers great merit to driving etc. and it uses tiger maps which aare only available for the US.

There again if you are from the US gab74 then you are in luck

i've a C3100 and i use a CF GPS GLOBASAT BC307....it runs good under qpegps.....
waiting for tomtom...............
