When I record using the av500 the video and sound plays back fine on the av500 but when trying to play back these files on the PC there is no video even through the media players that I use (WMP10, Media Player Classic and VLC) are installed with the approprate codecs (DivX4.0).
However, if these files are then edited using the av500 editing function and the edited file is saved as a new file, this file plays without any problems.
Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone has an explanation?
I could not see any difference between the original file and the edited file when examined using GSpot........
