Toshiba Tecra M2

I have a Toshiva Tecra M2 and the screen stopped working, so i started working with an external screen.

Recently, I took it to the toshiba representive in my country (israel). they told me that the motherboard is screwed and to replace it would cost my around $900.

My Question is, can i disconnect the screen from within the laptop and (with special converters) connect it to the VGA port on the outside

Please help me !!! this is important!

Yes you can, no you cant buy the converters on the market (DIY) and technically this is a zaurus fourm
